spoke
Spoke is a mixed-use development and the result of the second collaboration between Morgan Holdings and the Bond Companies. Ronnie Morgan and Rob and Larry Bond joined forces to create a unique vertical community in Chicago’s River West neighborhood with an emphasis on experiences to foster long-term relationships amongst the community members.

micro experiences
Play here, sing here, live here. Spoke residents have access to unique in-building amenity spaces: an interactive gaming room, a music room with a recording studio, a speakeasy with a performance stage, a conference room, a party room, a spinning studio, fitness and wellness centers, a cycle room with Peloton bikes, a family room, a demonstration kitchen, a curated art collection, a rooftop deck with fire pits, a pizza oven, bocce ball, an outdoor pool and hot tub, and a dog park with dog wash stations.

An interactive gaming room lets you play video games on the big screen against yourself or competition from around the world.

Spoke's music room features a bar, a pool table, a performance stage, and plenty of seating to watch the game.

A cycling room equipped with Peloton bike allows residents to ride through a high energy workout without leaving Spoke.

The fitness center is stocked with the finest equipment.
art program
Live an artful life. Spoke has partnered with premier Chicago artists to create an unrivaled cultural experience of living alongside contemporary art.
Curated by Patti Gilford Fine Arts, 24 innovative Chicago-based artists were carefully selected to complement the architecture and culture of Spoke. Akin to living in a contemporary art gallery, the lobbies, amenity spaces, and residential corridors of each building display vibrant, diverse, and thought-provoking paintings, drawings, photography and more.

graphic identity
We commissioned Thirst, a communication design practice in Chicago, to design Spoke's identity. The graphic program responds to Spoke's location on Milwaukee Ave — the "hipster highway" — by giving the building an active city vibe.
