Ellyse Murphy is a Development Project Manager with Bond Companies. In her role, Ellyse is responsible for managing the full life cycle of day-to-day development activities for Chicago- and Phoenix- area projects from site acquisition and entitlements, through construction, to lease-up and dispositioning.

Ellyse brings a planning perspective to development and is passionate about improving the built environment to create thriving and resilient communities. Ellyse’s development experience spans a variety of product types including market-rate and affordable multifamily, condo, mixed-use, retail, and office projects. Most recently, she worked in affordable housing development in New York City, where she oversaw over $125 million in real estate transactions in a year.

She is an Urban Land Institute Chamberlin Fellow and UrbanPlan Facilitator and an active member of the women’s Real Estate Finance Forum (REFF).

Ellyse received a Master of City Planning with a concentration in Public Private Development from the University of Pennsylvania and a Real Estate Design & Development Certificate from The Wharton School. She also has a B.A. in Geography from The George Washington University.
